A ‘Nacho’ Choice for Wahaca

Mexican street-food-style restaurant, Wahaca, has appointed 5 Little Portland Street to become their new UK head office quarters. Situated just moments from their Great Portland Street restaurant, the chain has acquired 2,300 sq ft of self-contained office space – spread over three floors with a roof terrace – from The Langham Estate.

From their first 2007 opening in the west end, and known for their complimentary after-dinner seeds and chilli growing competitions, Wahaca has expanded their presence with 25 branches throughout the UK. They pride in offering fresh, locally sourced ingredients combined with a menu inspired by the vibrant street foods of Mexico.

Amongst numerous recognitions, co-founders Mark Selby and Thomasina Miers, were voted restaurateurs of the year by Caterer Magazine in 2016 and were the first UK restaurant awarded a sustainable carbon-neutral certification.

In conjunction with their eateries, Wahaca has launched soft taco kits for their customers to replicate their flavoursome meals at home in 30 minutes.
