Due to continuing expansion, we are delighted to welcome the arrival of The London Cocktail Club, who has leased a 3,000 sq ft basement at 4 Great Portland Street (just off Oxford Street), in the heart of The Langham Estate.
Following a comprehensive refurbishment, the bar will open in September, offering a unique blend of eccentric cocktails and Michelin quality food.
By way of background, JJ Goodman and his partner James Hopkins won BBC2’s ‘The Restaurant’ in December 2009. This led to them partnering with Michelin star chef Raymond Blanc, renowned restaurateur David Moore and serial entrepreneur Sarah Willingham. They opened their first bar ‘The London Cocktail Club’ on Goodge Street in December 2010 and their unique blend of cocktails and food lead to rave reviews. Just over a year later in February 2012, the team opened their second site on Shaftesbury Avenue.
