Iconic footwear and outdoor brand Timberland have completed the lease of 1,630 sq ft at 158 Oxford Street on The Langham Estate.
The American manufacturer, owned by VF Corporation, is best known for its Original 6 Inch Boot. Back in 1973 the first guaranteed waterproof boot was created under the Timberland name. Marketed at the outdoor lifestyle, in addition to its footwear, Timberland also sells apparel including hiking gear.
Timberland reported its 2010 revenue at $1.4 billion US Dollars and employs over 5,600 people worldwide. Their products are sold in their at their own retail locations globally as well as in independent retailers, departments stores and sports stores.
