New production company leaps into Fitzrovia
We are pleased to welcome production company Leap Productions Ltd to The Langham Estate. In addition to offering “film-making for the age of social networking”, Leap Productions specialises in helping global production companies realise their filming plans in London and the UK has taken 350 sq ft of office space at 65 Margaret Street.
Leap Productions approached the Estate after realising that its existing space in North West London was no longer the right fit for the company, having been under-utilised since the onset of the pandemic in 2020. Jeff Emerson, Creative Director at Leap Productions, said:
“When the pandemic hit, a large part of our business shifted towards working with US companies. However, we quickly realised that the location of our previous production space wasn’t appropriate for running an international film business as no one could get there easily. Getting our clients to come to Fitzrovia has proved much easier due to the widely-known location and ease of access for employees and clients alike – which has been further enhanced by the opening of the Elizabeth Line.
“It has been encouraging to realise how accessible this prime area is to us as a small business – we were quite surprised to realise we could afford being in Central London, just moments away from Oxford Circus. An added benefit of the West End is that it has the power to make companies more prestigious, with any customer-facing business benefitting from being in W1.”
