Envy Post Production, run by Dave Cadle, is leading the way in being one of the few HD compatible studios in the UK, has taken a new lease on 9 Margaret Street,London W1, in order to create a new state of the art production facility to compliment its already well established centre in Rathbone Street.
9 Margaret Street, which is an attractive Grade II listed office building situated over lower ground, ground and five upper floors, comprises approximately 5,000 sq ft of air conditioned fully cabled offices.
In the short space of time it has existed, Envy has already edited the BBC reality series The Convent, series two of Charlie and Lola and Little Britain’s Big Swim for BBC where David Walliams swam the Channel for Sport Relief, put together for Channel 4 the promos for Gordon Ramsey’s F Word, the Paul O’Grady Show and Big Brother.
The acquisition of 9 Margaret Street coincides with huge technological changes for post-production studio work, which is no coincidence. With most of the world converting its broadcasting to High Definition (HD) and the technological advancements in HD television, Envy is leading the way in being one of the few HD compatible studios in the UK.
